Conception of Reims’ Musée des Beaux-arts fictional visual identity

Its logo draws inspiration from the museum’s building’s history as an ancient abbaye with this arched rib door. Most often found in religious architecture and especially churches, this door represents here, the one welcoming anyone who seeks shelter, the door to the sacred and a sort of transcendance one can also find in art.

This shape also has a fonctionality by enabling more easily the placement

The project’s identity draws inspiration from the architecture of sacred places. Once exclusively religious, these buildings have evolved into cultural landmarks that resonate with both atheists and believers alike.
