My end of the year essay enabled me to explore the ubiquity of the catholic aesthetic in our contemporary western culture : from pop culture to horror films, art, fashion, or social media.

For the making of the editorial object, inspiration was drawn from the bible and its ornamentations with a call to traditional wood engraving as well a copte type of binding (found on traditional religious books and also enables a full opening of the printed object).
